It has been the hugest honor to work alongside urbantonic and Waterford Wine Estate in delivering the birthday party / luncheon of our Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu on the 7th September.
The look and feel was created to feel as though it was a family lunch at The Arch’s house, and it truly was that. Even with a star studded guest list and home grown south African artists performing, it felt as through the family had welcomed us and all 550 guests into a close family affair with hugs and warm welcomes.
We used a mix of early summer floral made up of stocks, lavender, pin cushions, roses, lizzies, delphiniums, lace and lilies to create the “just picked in the garden” look and it suited both the venue and the vent perfectly.
Drape shading and fabric wrapped hay bales were also used sporadically to create a very relaxed feel for the afternoon… and that it was.
A very big thank you to urbantonic, Waterford Wines and of course the Tutu family for including us on this one 🙂
