Today we take a look back to the wedding of Peter and Minante who got married at the exquisite Waterkloof Estate in Somerset West.
The modern aesthetic of the venue allowed us to create a wonderful balance of classic style coupled with contemporary appeal. We used a natural mix of flowers including roses, lilies, succulents, proteas and other local flora. By using a variety of silver, clear, crystal and white vases texture and interest was created and ensured that each table had depth.
Peter’s family have a Scottish heritage and so to bring through this element we covered flower boards in the family’s traditional tartan fabric which added texture and a personal aspect to the tables. The couple’s choice of purple in their palette complimented the tartan fabric and by adding a purple water glass we were able to bring through the colour beautifully.
The overall style of sophisticated natural elements within the modern space was really amazing and worked so well together to create a truly beautiful wedding. Thanks to Maria at 68 Encounters for including us in this magical day celebrating the love of Peter and Minante.
