Today we take a look back at Laura and Jose’s beautiful summer wedding which took place at Buitenverwachting back in 2012.
The bride’s family are of Scottish decent and Jose is Spanish which allowed for a very festive celebration. Kilt’s and bagpipes tied in the Scottish heritage and added in a fun element to the day.
The look for the day was made up of natural and organic elements with undertones of greys. Succulents, lilies, roses, eucalyptus and lizzies made up the floral pieces which were created in loose arrangements in a mix of ceramic vases. Tall crystal candelabra’s on tables gave a little pop of modern to the otherwise beautifully natural look.
To get guests involved and to add a personal element; each person got a balloon with a little note attached to the string which they could write a little well-wishes note for the couple. Everyone then gathered to let the balloons go with their wishes attached to it.
From the majestic garden ceremony to the elegant reception, the day was filled with fun, love and happiness and we were so thrilled to have been a part of Laura and Jose’s special wedding day.
